Everyone knows that the VR market is getting bigger by the day. More and more devices are being released which support VR video and so VR porn has really taken off. Virtual Reality just gives you that extra edge when it comes to content immersion and that’s why users seem to like it so much that they’re willing to spend anywhere from $200 to $1000 dollars on a VR set. And after they’ve finished with all the xstory porn then they’re always looking for something new to do. This usually ends up being some VR sex gaming and so on but lately we’ve been seeing a completely new way in which the technology can be used.

In recent times we have seen cam girls take it upon themselves to deliver a VR experience to their audience. While these cams aren’t numerous, their advantage is that they can be viewed both on a regular PC screen as well as on a VR set. And since more and more household own a VR set, it’s no unusual to see people opt for VR adult content whenever it’s offered instead of looking at the porn on a regular PC screen. At the end of the day, what ends up happening is that cam girls that have VR compatibility rank higher than their counterparts with traditional cams. It’s a dog eat dog world out there with xstory, so who knows where this trend might take us.

However, there are some problems with VR cams as well. While they’re really immersive and might feel even more interactive on the Virtual Reality set, the regular view of the cam show might be a bit skewed because of the fact that the perspective is warped to accommodate this new tech. Some cams have adapted to this and managed to have both VR and regular cams installed for the optimal viewing experience no matter what’s being used by the person in question. These are great, but they are costly to install and so most cam girls ended up reverting to the old system in order to retain their already existing clientele and audience. Fan bases tend to wither away at first when they’re exposed to something completely new.

As time goes on, we might end up seeing more and more of these devices being used for adult entertainment purposes, and it’s only a matter of time before we see all kinds of content being transferred over to the Virtual Reality realm. It’s happening with games, especially now that Valve has gone into the mix, and it’s definitely something that the porn industry can expect to see more of. Then again, when push comes to shove, it will be on the creators to decide whether they want to tag along with the new and evolving tech or whether they want to keep working the way they used to for all this time with regular xstory.
